KYLE BUSCH TAKES THE CHECKERED FLAG AND HIS 50TH CAREER WIN

M&M’S® NASCAR driver Kyle Busch captured his seventh win of the season at Richmond Raceway in late September to bring his career total to a Hall-of-Fame-worthy 50 victories.

After coming from the back of the pack to join a pitched battle against Brad Keselowski that lasted 21 laps, Kyle made a gutsy pass for the lead on Lap 364 of 400 at the track.

That win clinched Kyle a tie with NASCAR Hall-of-Famers Junior Johnson and Ned Jarrett for 11th most victories in NASCAR history.

“The guys did a great job coming back from a dismal qualifying effort and preparing a really, really good race car for us tonight,” said Kyle. “We started dead last, came up through the field and won this thing… that's right Rowdy Nation. All for you, baby!

"I just wanted to win this thing. It was a whole team effort. I put us a little bit behind yesterday in qualifying and the guys did a great job rallying to put it together. It was an awesome race track. Love coming here. Hey—I finally won a fall race at Richmond, what do you know?"

Two weeks later at Phoenix’s ISM Raceway, Busch held off a furious challenge from Brad Keselowski to win the Can-AM 500, the 51st of his career. He’s now three wins from overtaking the iconic Lee Petty and moving in to the top 10 most all-time wins list.

After eight wins total in 2018, the No.18 M&M'S® team moved to the final Round of 4, where a challenging night at the Homestead-Miami Speedway finale gave Kyle a fourth place finish on the season.
